Learning content
This course equips students with the skills to demonstrate leadership in the workplace and uphold a high professional standard. Learners will build and lead effective workplace relationships, while coordinating both team and individual performance to meet operational goals. The ability to communicate clearly and manage workplace information is a key focus, supporting efficient and transparent team operations.
Participants will also learn to facilitate innovation and drive continuous improvement within teams. The course explores the application of emotional intelligence to lead diverse teams successfully and foster inclusive work environments. Students will develop strategies to manage workplace risks, resolve problems effectively, and respond proactively to customer needs. In addition, the course covers organising meetings and monitoring service delivery to ensure outcomes are met and standards maintained.

Eligibility
- Students should be old enough to work in their chosen role and able to safely take part in tasks related to business administration.
- Students need to be working—or have a clear pathway into work—in a role that fits within the business services space. This could be in areas like admin, customer service, retail support, government, education, healthcare admin, or other office-based settings.
- Students will need regular access to a real business or admin work environment where they can build their skills and complete assessments. This includes working with customers or clients, using business systems and office equipment, and taking on tasks that link to the course outcomes.
