First aid course
This hands-on First Aid program provides learners with the essential skills to respond to medical emergencies in both workplace and community settings. Through practical training, students learn how to recognise and manage situations such as cardiac arrest, unconsciousness, wounds, burns, shock, and allergic reactions.

Overview
This First Aid program is based on current Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines and reflects best practice in emergency response and workplace health and safety. Upon successful completion, learners receive nationally recognised certification and are equipped to support health and safety across a wide range of industries, including education, construction, aged care, retail, tourism, and community services.
The course is suitable for anyone who may need to respond to medical emergencies—whether at work, at home, or in the community. It’s ideal for first-time learners, those renewing their certification, and participants from all backgrounds, including culturally and linguistically diverse learners. Typical students include workers in safety-critical industries, parents and carers, job seekers, volunteers, sports coaches, and anyone wanting to gain practical, lifesaving skills.
